During this presentation Luke will discuss the important role simulation has played during the COVID- 19 pandemic. He will go into some of the activity and what we achieved during these trying times. Summarising the challenges faced by Queensland Health and the response by the Clinical Skills Development Service towards these challenges.
Touching on the support provided for the Metro North Emergency Operations Centre, virtual care, and the Digital Command Centre. Luke discusses the work done behind-the-scenes to test the rapid development of PPE evaluation using simulation and the delivery of education resources for COVID-19.
As CSDS is a statewide service Luke will briefly go over the Pocket Centre Network, talking about the simulation equipment maintenance and loan throughout the state for education delivery and assessing clinical equipment and consumables used in simulation suitable for clinical practice during a crisis.
