The Laerdal Male Multi-Venous IV Arm is designed for training professionals in the practice of venipuncture. We recommend nothing larger than a 21 gauge needle. This will extend life of skin and veins. When using a catheter or other venipuncture devices, lubricate them with lubricant spray for easier insertion.
