We’ve launched the Safety and Quality Education Project podcast!

In the ever-evolving landscape of healthcare, staying informed about national standards and best practices is paramount to ensuring patient safety and delivering quality care. CSDS produced the SQEP podcast to create more engaging and accessible content to supplement the SQEP information hub.

The SQEP podcast is aimed to facilitate discussions around national standards and strategies for achieving short-notice accreditation readiness in clinical settings. Each episode is an opportunity to delve into topics vital for patient safety and healthcare quality. Dr Mia McLanders interviews guests, ranging from clinicians, consumers and hospital staff who share their insights and experiences in 9 episodes:

  1. How can we meet short notice accreditation?
  2. How can we meet the ACHS standards for First Nations People?
  3. Clinical Governance
  4. Preventing and controlling healthcare associated infection
  5. Medication safety
  6. Comprehensive care
  7. Communication for safety
  8. Blood management
  9. Recognising and responding to acute deterioration
