CSDS and QuILL at the Metro North Innovation Showcase

CSDS and the Queensland Innovation Living Lab (QuILL) joined the Metro North Innovation Showcase on 13 June, hosted by Healthcare Excellence & Innovation (HEI) and the HELIX Hub.

Dr Mia McLanders, Manager Research CSDS at the Metro North Innovation Showcase

It was a great day of connection, conversation, and curiosity. Our team shared how simulation, usability testing, and co-design are helping shape more effective, human-centred models of care. From hands-on demos to chats about the future of healthcare, it was a chance to show how innovation lives and breathes in our everyday work.

We were especially grateful for the kind words from Metro North Board Chair Bernard Curran, who shared:

It was great for me to learn about the brilliant work conducted by QuILL and CSDS. The intersection of healthcare and industry is critical for development of models of care for the future. My brief use of your innovative equipment was a great insight into the healthcare advancements you are contributing to.
