The CSDS team has launched a newly revamped website designed as a comprehensive resource hub for trauma care professionals across Queensland. This platform provides healthcare providers with the knowledge and tools to support high-quality trauma care across diverse settings.
The Queensland Trauma Education (QTE) website offers an extensive range of free, expertly crafted resources, featuring detailed modules on essential trauma topics, including burns, head trauma, and trauma in pregnancy. Each module is thoughtfully designed to enhance clinical understanding and boost confidence in applying these principles to real-life scenarios.
To promote the website’s launch, the QTE team attended the 2024 Australian & New Zealand Trauma Society (ANZTS) Conference and the World Trauma Day event at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
These events provided invaluable opportunities to showcase the new tools, engage with fellow trauma professionals, and gather feedback to keep refining the site. Discussions sparked new insights into emerging challenges in trauma care, helping to continue improving the site to meet clinicians’ needs.
