FDC allows participants to gain an understanding of various debriefing theories and techniques, and how to apply these to simulation-based education. Debriefing skills and techniques are rehearsed through a range of activities, and through supervised debriefs of actual scenarios.

Who should participate

Faculty members and Simulation Coordinators who are involved in conducting debriefs.

Participants must attend the Introduction to Simulation Training course prior to enrolling in FDC. The course scenarios involve Advanced Life Support principles and we recommend attending an ALS course within 12 months prior to attending this course.
