The Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course is a one-day (eight hour) training course designed to equip participants with the technical and non-technical skills necessary to effectively manage adult cardiac arrest situations in line with ANZCOR guidelines.

Through the use of simulation, participants are able to learn in a replicated clinical environment to encourage critical thinking and decision-making strategies. Ongoing feedback and instruction throughout the day assists to reinforce understanding and the learned application of ACLS theoretical knowledge and frameworks.

Who should participate

The ACLS course is designed for clinicians with little or no experience or knowledge of ACLS, or those wanting a comprehensive update.


This course is available to all graduate healthcare workers.


Neat casual clothing and enclosed footwear.
