Elisha Swift
Midwife, Medical Advisor - Women's Health Medical Department
Sydney Medical Unit, Operational Centre Paris (OCP)
Medecins Sans Frontiers (MSF)
Elisha started working for Medecins Sans Frontiers (MSF) in 2016. Her first overseas assignment was in Sierra Leone. Since then, she has completed various MSF projects in Iraq, Tanzania, and South Sudan. MSF is an international, independent, medical aid organisation that delivers medical assistance in places that have been affected by armed conflicts, epidemics, and natural disasters, and where local medical infrastructure has been decimated.
Elisha is currently based in Brisbane and serves as a women's health advisor for the Sydney Medical Unit of the MSF OCP. The Women's Health Medical Department is dedicated to providing medical support and strategic advice on women’s health, paediatrics and neonatal care, sexual violence, and nursing care in MSF field projects.
